Q&A with Lauren Oliver
In our first issue of the newsletter, we showcased a series of photographs by friend of the magazine, Lauren Oliver. To better understand the images and her creative practice, we recently FaceTimed with Lauren while she was under self-quarantine in Queens, New York. During the conversation, we touched upon how being confined to her apartment has changed the way she creates, the effects of anxiety whilst trapped in a domestic setting, and our newsletter’s current monthly theme of “intimacy.”

About the Artists
Ciara O’Shea and Emily Holtzman are overseas bffs who occasionally turn their conversations into comic strips. They both relate intimacy with being vulnerable, and think the times humor can also be there are the most ridiculous, beautiful moments.
